Biography

Elisa Rossi is a PhD, MD, Psychiatrist, Acupuncturist and Licensed Psychotherapist.

In 1983, after a 3-year Course in Acupuncture in Milan, Elisa attended the Training Course of TCM in Beijing. She went back to China 7 more times gaining clinical experience in the TCM Departments of Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Jinan.
In 1994 Elisa co-founded the School of TCM “MediCina”.

From 2006 she is member of Milan Medical Board for Non-Conventional Medicine.
Elisa volunteered with Agopuntura Senza Frontiere (Madagascar-2008, Laos-2010, Tanzania-2012).

Since since 2005 she runs Xiaoxiao, a Chinese Medicine Childrens' Centre.
She lectured in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, UK, USA.

In English she published: “Shen – Psycho-Emotional Aspects of Chinese Medicine”, Churchill-Livingstone, 2007; “Pediatrics in Chinese Medicine”, Donica, 2011. “The Therapeutic Relationship in Acupuncture”, NOI edizioni, 2023.

Articles are published mainly on European Journal of Oriental Medicine (1995, 2000, 2005, 2012, 2019) and Journal of Chinese Medicine (2007, 2010, 2017, 2023).

How Do We Use Your Information?

We only use your personal information to provide the best possible products and services to you. This includes:

  • determining the country you are in so that we can refer you to the right Partner in your region to buy courses and related products;
  • providing and managing your Account;
  • providing and managing your access to Our Site;
  • notifying you of important information related to your purchases your Account;
  • personalizing and tailoring your experience on Our Site;
  • supplying Our online courses and services to you;
  • personalizing and tailoring specific content for you, such as generating CEU/PDA certificates;

  • the teachers of the courses you have registered for, who will have access to your full name on Our Site;
  • Partners from whom you bought your courses, who will have access to your full name and email on Our Site in order to verify your purchase;
  • the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) will receive your first name, last name, email address, and license number(s) if you request a certificate of completion from them; this is because they email the certificates themselves;
  • Kurativz Pvt. Ltd. may have access to your name and email in order to assist you with your support queries;
  • Hosts for events you have registered for may have access to your full name for attendance purposes, and your email if you request an NCCAOM certificate (they are required to submit this to NCCAOM to create your certificate);
  • Any individual to whom we are legally required to share certain data held by us, which may include your personal information, for example, where we are involved in legal proceedings, where we are complying with the requirements of legislation, a court order, or a governmental authority. We do not require any further consent from you in order to share your data in such circumstances and will comply as required with any legally binding request that is made of us.

What Happens If Our Business Changes Hands?

We may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business and this may involve the sale or the transfer of control of all or part of our business. Personal information provided by users will, where it is relevant to any part of our business so transferred, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use your personal information for the purposes for which it was originally collected by us.

Continuing Education Credits

It is your responsibility to review the continuing education requirements of your professional association and to complete all of the course requirements in order to obtain your certificate of completion from Net of Knowledge. Net of Knowledge is not responsible for any licensing issues that may result from your failure to complete requirements or submit certificates for licensing renewal.

Privacy

Please review the privacy policy, linked to at the bottom of each page, to understand the information we collect and how we manage and store it to protect your privacy. The privacy policy may be updated from time to time. If a technical issue is encountered that cannot be resolved by reviewing the Help Section, you agree to report the issue to Net of Knowledge’s Technical Support Team, either by an email or online ticket.
