Allison Tartari

Biography

Licensed Midwife with over 10 years of experience and more than 300 births attended across both hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Specializes in midwifery co-care for hospital births, providing education, advocacy, and continuity of care to support safer, more positive birth outcomes.

Allison is the founder of Thrive Maternal Health Fund, focused on improving maternal outcomes through access to midwifery services, postpartum home visits, doula support, and maternal mental health care. She is also the founder of Healing Notes, a music therapy program supporting hospitalized children, reflecting her broader commitment to compassionate, family-centered care.

As a mother of four and grandmother of one, her work is deeply rooted in both professional experience and personal understanding of the impact care has on families. She is known for building collaborative models that bridge community midwifery and hospital-based providers.
