JingShen Pediatrics

About

Moshe Heller and Stephen Cowan have developed the JingShen Pediatrics Certificate program with the intent of offering Chinese medicine practitioners around the world the opportunity to gain greater confidence in treating the unique and varied array of childhood pathologies.

The program is designed for practitioners interested in developing their skills and confidence in treating children. For practitioners who are already experienced in treating children this course gives you the opportunity to learn from Heller and Cowan who together have over 50 years of pediatric experience. This program is organized into five 14 hour modules, each covering specific topics in pediatrics.

The first course is an overview of pediatrics that includes unique considerations in the physiology and pathological patterns in children. This first course will give you the strong foundation on which the other courses are built.

As part of the program, we also hold regular online mentorship training sessions, a unique part of the Jingshen course. In mentorship training, we offer you a chance to participate in case presentations and learn practical modalities which will help you in your practice. The mentorship training will give you access to a growing community of practitioners around the world interested in reducing the suffering of children.

To gain full certificate in this course you will be required to complete one additional weekend of in-person hands on training (to be offered every 2 years).
