Achieving Clinical Success in the Treatment of Difficult Diseases in Chinese Medicine

In-Depth Internal Medicine Training

with Heiner Fruehauf and Michael Berletich

October 11, 2025 - June 20, 2026

Overview

This course is designed as a practical Internal Medicine course that will lead us through actual clinical cases, give us clinical assessment tools and deepen our ability to think our way through complex cases to immediately improve our clinical outcomes.

The program is designed as a direct sequel to the previous series presented by Heiner Fruehauf and Michael Berletich entitled: "Classical Strategies for Effective Herbal Formulation". Content will be delivered via shared presentation and conversation between the lecturers and will feature significant case-based learning and treatment options that can be directly applied. Each two hours of lecture and discussion on a comprehensive variety of Internal Medicine disorders will be followed by a 30-minute interactive Q&A period.

As a comprehensive mentorship and tutorial, we will cover both herbal and acu-moxa strategies. Diseases like IBS, Fibromyalgia, Lyme, Common Cold, COVID, GERD, GI, Auto-Immune, Cancer, Women's health and more will be covered thoroughly.

The goal of this course is to help each attendee achieve a greater level of clinical confidence and skill in diagnosing, treating, and prescribing. The course will cover the most common and difficult disorders and is geared towards benefiting both new practitioners with limited clinical experience as well as seasoned practitioners who have a solid foundation to gain new and keener insights by the course end.
