Overview

Treating Knee Injuries and Pain is designed for the orthopedic and sports acupuncturist. This course emphasizes diagnosis and assessment, with all treatment plans and choice of points based upon anatomical factors. Included are trigger points, motor points, and treating the synovial joint. Easy-to-understand treatment plans are presented, resulting in increased clinical effectiveness. The following structures are covered in this three-hour course:

(1) The patello-femoral joint. Highlights: Xiyan into the sub patellar space.
(2) The medial compartment of the knee. Highlights: Threading the joint line.
(3) The ilio-tibial band. Highlights: Threading the ilio-tibial tract at GB 33.
(4) The pes anserine. Highlights: The region of Sp 9.

  • the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) will receive your first name, last name, email address, and license number(s) if you request a certificate of completion from them; this is because they email the certificates themselves;
  • Kurativz Pvt. Ltd. may have access to your name and email in order to assist you with your support queries;
  • Hosts for events you have registered for may have access to your full name for attendance purposes, and your email if you request an NCCAOM certificate (they are required to submit this to NCCAOM to create your certificate);
  • Any individual to whom we are legally required to share certain data held by us, which may include your personal information, for example, where we are involved in legal proceedings, where we are complying with the requirements of legislation, a court order, or a governmental authority. We do not require any further consent from you in order to share your data in such circumstances and will comply as required with any legally binding request that is made of us.

What Happens If Our Business Changes Hands?

We may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business and this may involve the sale or the transfer of control of all or part of our business. Continuing Education Credits
